# Introduction

## Avareum Protocol: Asset Management Redefined

Avareum protocol is a DeFi asset management service that helps investors manage a portfolio's lifecycle by diversification/automation/rebalancing investment in DeFi in just a few clicks away.

### Diversification

The Avareum asset allocation model helps you mitigate the risks of DeFi investment by assisting you with DeFi platform diversification and crypto-asset diversification.

For platform diversification, Avareum enables you to diversify your investment into various DeFi services in multiple blockchain infrastructures, including Solana, Ethereum, BSC, Terra, Polygon, and etc.

And for crypto-asset diversification, Avareum helps you find a proper crypto-asset allocation ratio based on their risk domains.

### Automation

Avareum automates all sophisticated/repetitive investment activities in DeFi. This includes yield farming on DEX platforms, collateral debt positioning and liquidating on the banking platforms, staking, swapping, re-harvesting yield earned, governance tokens/stablecoins swapping to secure yield earned.

### Rebalancing

Avareum realigns the weightings of an investor's portfolio of assets. Avareum rebalancing involves periodically switching between crypto-assets and DeFi platforms in the portfolio to maintain an original or desired level of asset allocation or risk.
